PiggyBank Success Magazine
PiggyBank Success is 1 of 3 magazines for a class project with the intent of marketing to three different demographics using typography, photography, and layout. PiggyBank was specifically designed for first-time, newly-graduated college students who took out more loans than they would have liked and need extra help. The magazine’s mission is to provide financial advice for the new graduate to overcome financial debt. These magazines would serve their target market best by being available in all college institutions and, in addition, financial businesses and institutions.
Demographic
front cover
This layout and the chosen typography speak to the younger generation. I specifically chose a combination of transitional typefaces and San-serif fonts from the title and through each page. The selected fonts provide a welcoming levitas while maintaining a sense of negative space to give the reader a sense of veritas.
