Thank-You Cards

Final sizes: 4 x 3 x 4 or 3 x 3 x 4; Card stock; White; DS

I have always dabbled in craft projects over the years, from making bookmarks to cards to wall art. Giving a personally designed project to someone resonated with what I deeply desired and dreamed of doing: making someone feel special with something I created, giving value to that artwork.

Over the past few years, while studying Graphic Design, I wanted to create a thank-you card for the person who inspired me to pursue this industry. But I didn’t know what to do for her to demonstrate my gratitude. I knew that whatever I did, I would make it. A few months ago, I decided to design a card using the skills I went to school for. I took into account that the recipient is also a graphic designer, hence my effort to design something specifically for her birthed this concept of creating specialized thank-you cards.

My designs were developed in-house, you can say; I didn’t research ideas and I already hate copying. I sought to come up with something different and yet beautiful. I plan on creating a business featuring a variety of my cards, giving people the ability to pick and choose their own designs and patterns.
